This project showcases how thoughtful severance and design can create meaningful density while respecting the character of the surrounding neighbourhood. The exterior material palette blends natural stone, horizontal wood siding, and sleek dark ACM panel accents. Subtle variations in form and detailing give each home a unique presence, while shared proportions and rhythm create visual harmony across the site. Internally, both homes are planned to make the most of a modest footprint. Open-concept layouts, generous windows, and well-considered built-ins contribute to functional, light-filled interiors. With three full levels of living space and integrated landscape features, the design strikes a balance between efficiency and comfort — all within a compact urban lot.
